Tomioka Silk Mill will be registered as the World Heritage

Tomioka Silk Mill at Tomioka city, Gunma pref. will be registed as the 14th World Heritage in Japan.
UNESCO decides at a meeting in June.
It is consecutive registration for Japan after Mt. Fuji. We have 18 world heritages including 4 natural heritages.
Tomioka Silk Mill was the first mill built by Meiji government for Japanese modernization in 1872.
It was one of the biggest mill in the world at that time.
They have worked until 1987, and now we keep it as a historical property.
Visitors can tour at a historical structures.

Hello.
This is Momoko.
Rainy season is coming soon in Japan…

Before that, I went to Bittchu Matsuyama castle in Takahashi city, Okayama (my home town).
We have to hike a mountain for 20 minutes to go to the castle from the parking lot.
It was a bit steep road, however, it was sunny day and I could see fresh green and good scenery.
Bittchu Matsuyama castle has a long history and one of the oldest castle in existence in Japan.
When you come to Okayama, I recommend to go there!
